10/12: Stormy Friday

A frequently-asked question is "How long do you stay open?" or something to that effect. It's one of  those answers that I give automatically: we never really close, we just stop keeping scheduled hours. Rebecca sets-up her studio over there, we hang some art over here, and if people put their noses up to the window we might let them in.

Might... as in, put your credit card up against the glass and we'll do a background check on you first  (remind me to tell you about the guy who was stalking me this summer, trying to get a painting cheap).

Ah, so when does that happen?

Well, tomorrow is the last regular day. I'm taking Sunday off.  Next week I'll be doing some shipping and other odds and ends. Then I'll probably rebuild some of our storage and moveable walls. In November we'll come-up with next year's line-up, and then maybe we'll have some sort of small show for Thanksgiving weekend. After that I, along with most of Stonington's other theme park characters, will be cryogenically frozen until next summer.

Here's a new one from Rebecca:
