Rebecca Daugherty has lived and painted on Main Street, Stonington for five years. During that time, her realistic oil paintings have become increasingly focused on her immediate surroundings. The show will will include work from her “Roadwork” series, paintings of people working on and beneath the roads of Stonington and the Deer Isle bridge. Also on display will be paintings and drawings of Stonington fishing boats and landscapes.
